+Sitka’s Evergreen cloud migration is planned for this weekend October 19-21. See the announcement here – https://bc.libraries.coop/news/moving-servers/
 +
+The Evergreen servers will down for Sitka’s Evergreen cloud migration starting at 9:00 PM PDT Saturday October 19.  Services are expected to unavailable until to 9:00 PM PDT Monday October 21, 2024.
 +
+If your library will be open on Sunday October 20th or Monday October 21st please note that the Offline Circulation module will not work while our servers are down. Please plan to use alternative methods for circulation tracking.
 +
 +**Authentication of 3rd Party Services**
 +
+Patrons will still be able to access electronic resources during the server migration. The web staff client and public catalogue will be unavailable, but authentication of 3rd party services will continue, and your patrons’ access to digital resources will not be affected.
 +
+The Bibliocommons catalogue will be available but patrons will be unable to login into their account and availability information may be out of date.
 +
+3rd party services that perform transactions in Evergreen, such as self check machines and hold lockers, will not work during the server migration.
 +
 +**Our IPs Are Changing**
 +
+With the server move comes a change to our IP addresses.  Once services are back up:
 +
+(1) Make sure your firewall allows you to connect to 142.4.195.194.
 +
+(2) If you are using SIP2, make sure you also allow connections to 142.4.195.207 for PC Reservations and Press Reader.
 +
+Do NOT change your IP address ahead as this will cause your existing services to stop working.
 +
+Please contact Co-op Support if you have any questions.

+**We expect the Evergreen server will be unavailable, from 9:00 PM PDT Saturday October 19 to 9:00 PM PDT Monday October 21, 2024.**
 +
+The following banner will be posted on all public catalogues starting Friday October 11th. “"The catalogue will be unavailable from 9:00PM PDT (11:00PM CDT) on Saturday, October 19th, to 9:00PM PDT (11:00PM CDT) on Monday, October 21st."
 +
+This is longer downtime than we have had for our upgrades over the last few years and longer than was previously posted.  We are hopeful that services will be ready earlier on Monday but want to ensure libraries are prepared if the extended downtime window is required.  We will send an email communication via the Sitka Group when services have been restored.  Please ensure relevant staff are subscribed; contact Co-op Support if you would like additional staff added to the Sitka Group.

+Co-op Support will be performing our annual deletion of old reporter data on Monday, October 7th, ahead of the server migration. Report definitions and output that are older than 3 years are deleted annually.
 +
+We recommend regularly downloading report output you need to keep as CSV or Excel output and saving it locally on your computer hard drive or a shared drive.
 +
+More information on maintaining your reporter data can be found here:
