The description will pretty much just be a long list of events, I think, so I suppose it’s a matter of if one long list is better than several smaller ones, and how it will be formatted in the Complex Image Descriptions section.

It seems that they are not the sub-headings within each chapter. Could you please suggest how to define their level of heading? Thanks.

+A: These are not asides, they are subsections. Format as a heading that following the heading hierarchy of the chapter. It is also a split heading, so you will have to format it as: ''Skills: Receiving the River of Life''.
